Founded in 1881, the American Association of University Women (AAUW) is the oldest and largest women’s organization in the country. AAUW promotes equity for women, education and self-development over the life span, and positive societal change.
The Kona Branch of AAUW is pleased to be able to award three $2,000 scholarships to female, college-bound high school seniors, with financial need, who attend a West Hawaii high school OR award two $1,000 scholarships to female high school seniors, or women desiring to enroll in college to complete a 2-year degree or vocational program at Hawaii Community College Palamanui in Kailua-Kona.
