It’s Quarter Four and Spring has Sprung

Welcome back for Q4!

Ms. Ferrance, Journalism Club Advisor

Sure, it rained a lot over spring break, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t heading toward a sunny spring season, flowers, rainbows, and lots of beach days.

The spring equinox occurred this weekend on Saturday, March 20. This event marked the astronomical first day of spring in the Northern Hemisphere. The spring equinox, also known as the vernal equinox, occurs when the Sun crosses the equator and moves north. When this happens the Northern Hemisphere begins to tilt toward the Sun, increasing daylight and warming temperatures.

Hawaii, being just north of the equator is included in this event. What does this really mean for us? It means we are headed into our final quarter of the school year, gearing up to do our best and finish the year off strong as we head into summer!

Welcome Back Students and Happy Spring!
