A Teacher Opens the Door. . .

“The teacher opens the door, it’s up to the student to walk through.” To me, the quote can mean a variety of different things. The main idea is, the teacher is willing to teach you but you have to take the step to accept that. Learning is not a one-sided thing. Teachers want what’s best for you and want to fill you with knowledge. Students have the job to take that all in. Are they wanting to learn? Are they going to take this opportunity to learn? We have to put in the effort, to succeed in life and school. If we are just to stand and watch instead of engaging we won’t grow in any way. So if you get a chance to walk through that door, I say take the risk no matter the circumstances, because, in the end, it’s all worth it.
