Grown Out

I’ve grown out of my skin the person I am with in is too old for this body I wish I could  fit again, 

but I can never go to how it was back then, 

I remember back when my skin did not tear like a weathered shirt, 

nor did my eyes tell stories from centuries ahead, 

I could just lie in bed and sleep, 

I wish I could keep my wonder and cluelessness because now I’ve grown up and out of my skin, and

    I enjoyed this poem very much! It depicts a longing to reverse the clock, which I quite resonate with even though growing out of phases and etc is the natural way of life.
