Hawaiian Word of the Day

Hawaiian+Word+of+the+Day

May Day is Lei Day in Hawaii. This month many flowers become lei and are used in May Day celebrations across the islands.  May is known for blooming flowers and warmer weather. It’s a perfect time for a picnic hiking, or going to the beach. This month in Hawaii the weather is warm but not too hot, making way for enjoyable outdoor adventures without feeling stressed by the heat. May is a great time to see the beautiful tropical flowers in full bloom across the islands. This can make beaches less crowded as people head to the mountains, allowing for a more peaceful and relaxing experience.
