Kāpili Culture

As an everyday ritual, the family meal is a symbol of shared ʻohana life. It organizes the ʻohana, bringing family members together and contributes to the physical, mental and social well-being. It is the commitment to the ʻohana. Kamaliʻi who eat dinner with their ʻohana experience less stress and have a better relationship with them. Food for the brain, the body, and the soul.

Project Goal: To influence a tradition of eating dinner together as ʻohana.
